Upstream scull

What a stunning evening, stunning sun set! Spent mine sculling upstream with Sandy. We went farther than usual and found some great stretches of river. The flood water’s cleared a lot of debris and reed makeing the water area wider.  Stopped for a moment to chat to a huge bull who was watching us from the river bank.

Evenings like this remind me how good it can be on the river.

About this blog

Welcome to the personal blog of Robert A J Ford, a professional interface developer based in the UK.

I started this blog in 2007 to record my cycling training leading up to the Etape. I've never been one for diaries but this format works well with my job and lifestyle so I expanded it to record details of other training and events.

As the blog grew it became a space where friends and family could follow what I am up to. Their feedback has inspired me to keep writing. I hope you find something of interest and please feel free to leave comments.
